makkenhoff Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 I wasn't questioning whether or not you've hosted a server before, simply that your friend was using the right ip address, because if he/she was joining his own local world, he/she couldn't connect to yours. Your settings look correct to me, based on the instructions given here. That's why I asked for you to verify your friend is putting the right information in. If you'd like, pm me the IP, and I can try to login on your server myself, and then you'll know if its server settings. Another thing to check would be your operating system settings itself.
