Beard
This is currently caused by mods which were broken by the update, one known one is "Moar Can Openers" I recommend checking if you have that mod enabled and disabling it. slavik_the_slav

Я проверил, включен ли у вас этот мод, и он является его владельцем. Странно получается, администраторы могут зайти на сервер. We will then sit and watch which mods still break the game Edited August 9, 2022 by MONKEY_GAMING

We don't run that mod (or any mod for that matter) but we're constantly getting this error, and also frequent crashes server-side. It's you, not mods. It was kicking players with the "malformed packet" error, and then crashed completely (twice). I'm attaching the console output at the moment of the crash. crash.txt
Beard
Thats unusual, can you make sure to open the 8766 and 8767 ports in your firewall and router settings? Since the crash log seems to be related to Steam, and those two ports are the only ones Steam uses As for the malformed packet error, which type do you get? Brainsy
Could you tell me where to find the log file, I want to share to find out what the actual problem is. raydough
I'm experiencing this same issue, "Malformed packet detected type 21" I am running mods but, I'm ABLE TO CONNECT to the hosted MP server I run with my ADMIN, but none of the standard users can connect. TheNutMan
You need to disable anticheat type 21 in the server options. Just had this happen on my server and turning it to false worked

I'll try your Type 22 recommendation, although I'd like to remind the kicks aren't the only problem. Beard
It would be a singular error file as far as I know with an error log in it, or do you only see a single core file there thats 50gb?
Darjusz
@Beard Here are the files in the root directory of the game server: Once I saw that the core weights almost 50gigs it made me suspicious because either that's a really big file shipped with the game server or that's a very big core dump. Beard
That is fairly large, I wonder if you could try to zip it up to compress it to a more reasonable size? Since sharing 50gb might be pretty difficult?
