MSR788 rifle internal magazine not working

Singleplayer

No mods.

Replication steps:

When reloading the MRS788 the character ejects the magazine, reloads it and inserts it again instead of loading bullets into the gun. The MSR700 does function properly.

I managed to fix this by changing the lines

MagazineType = Base.308Clip, to /*MagazineType = Base.308Clip,*/

and

GunType = Base.HuntingRifle, to /*GunType = Base.HuntingRifle,*/

in items_weapons.txt. With the changes it behaves properly, just as the msr700

There are 2 different .308 magazines in the game, make sure you found the right one (it shows the gun type when hover mouse over it).

what I'm saying is that it should not have a removable magazine, you should be able to load the gun like the MSR700.

Per the patch notes In the post titled: IWBUMS 41.45 released

- MSR700/MSR788 now doesn't require magazines.

Huh, didn't realize there was an update that was supposed to make both the MSR700 and MSR788 not use magazines.  That really kind of explains their funkiness, did searches over the other patch notes and don't see that this change was supposed to be reverted.  Here's hoping they make it an internal magazine like the MSR700, would honestly prefer that heavily.
