I don't see this purpose as opposed the even more things to reduce boredom, while this would attract attention. Also how would you distract zombies by bringing them towards you? I find it way too easy to avoid zombies personally, I'd like some more noise, and it could be fun with npc's and other players come MP. Also in MP if I make a sound it can serve to distract zombies from another player, "it making noise" is not really a reason to argue against it lol. It would be novel if nothing else. If you know how to play and you're reasonably certain the extra noise won't attract any zeds you can entertain yourself and other survivors. Maybe make you happier?At least then it serves a purpose notebooks and books won't serve, and the downside is the noise, but obviously it should have some sort of practice needed in order for the bonuses to be as effective.
