NuclearSharkhead
Can someone explain to me the difference between placing mods in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Zomboid\Mods and C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ProjectZomboid\mods ? Because they both seem to work to some extent, although certain mods seem to be detected in only certain folders. What gives? Sorry if this was addressed already but I don't even know what to search for lol.
EnigmaGrey
Old mods often require direct access to the game's files and often replaces them (Common\ProjectZomboid\mods).Zomboid\mods don't alter the game's files, can be selected in the mods panel, and can be removed without having to reinstall the game. harakka
Placing anything in the PZ Steam install folder is deprecated, all modern mods go into user's home folder. Bug mod authors to update their stuff.
