ZombieHunter
Cars should have 360 vision when sitting idle With reduce and limited vision on rear when moving. It is odd that you can't see behind your car. one of the most fundamental and important aspect of driving a car and thing you learn in driving school before starting the car is to; Check Sideview and Rearview Mirrors. Papa Juliet Whiskey
I think if you hold ctrl or alt, you can free look around. Doesn't quite simulate mirrors, but it kinda keeps in check with PZ's play style. s0urce and Bullet_Magnate
EnigmaGrey
This had to be removed as it massively harmed performance. Thousands of zombies being animated on screen on top of having to steam the map does not end well. But as Papa says, you can just swivel with ctrl instead. Seems that there are many situations where limitations have to be put because of performance impact when rendering lots of zombies. Are there any plans to improve it? Can anything be done? Its the core game mechanic, makes sense to try to make it as best as possible.
getstoopid
You can look around sitting in a car... just press you "combat stance" button. It works the same way as it does in combat except you can't look further out. It also works while driving, but keep in mind that looking behind in your car while driving forward tends to end badly like in reality
