demi0103 Posted June 3, 2022 Share Posted June 3, 2022 Steam recognizes both PS4 and Xbox controllers but once in Project Zomboid, it acts as if the controllers don't exist. This is true with bluetooth and with it wired in. Not sure if it matters but it's on a Mac (not M1). I found something about going into the configuration file for the controller, but I can only see PS4 on there. If it helps any, Zomboid seems to change the controller configuration on its own but doesn't allow the controllers to be used. This worked for the PS4 controller recently but this is the first time I tried the Xbox controller. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Beard Posted June 4, 2022 Share Posted June 4, 2022 Could you try making sure they are recognized in the Steam Big Picture mode as well? You will need to enable them in the settings there as well just to make sure everything works. After that, try launching the game through the big picture mode.
