Energy Drinks

Hello, I would like to suggest a new item for the game, the Energy drinks. This drink would grant the player -10 points to tiredenss and fatigue when drank, along side your common points for thirst. They can be found like any other drink, like in fridges, stores and kitchens. Really a simple concept for it.

That's a good idea.

I think it should have similar effect than coffee (reducing tiredness), but stronger, as the "energy" of those drinks seems to be only due to the caffein they contain.

One potential issue from a lore / realism perspective:  I think "Red Bull" was about the earliest energy drink marketed in the United States, and I don't think it was released in the US until 1997.  So, particularly in a more rural area like Kentucky, I don't know if energy drinks would realistically have been available.  Might be better to leave this one in the world of mods so that people can choose how important the realism factor is to them ...

Mountain Dew may be the closest thing available at the time.

 

Energy drinks have been advertised since the early 1900s, but that stuff is a far cry from what we would consider an energy drink today.
