Walther
So peeps, I recently found out about Banished... it's a city building strategy game where you do not farm ressources rather than build your population and city so smart, that your population grows which will then give you more ressources (people for your work) clickety-click-click
Erik
Looks like something i would like. Kinda reminds me of imperium ronanum aswell.

Broseph
Been following this for a little bit now and I can't wait to try it. Like Erik said it reminds me of Imperium Romanum, minus the combat.

Walther
Tried it yesterday... I like it. It's a very relaxing game IMO, though it isn't easy. just with a slower pace. The management of ressources takes some getting used to, I mean like in every RTS game you need to gather experiences on how your ressources are lasting for what, and which buildings you need first etc... I especially like that I can keep it running whilst going away from the pc for a couple of minutes... my minions just do their job, eventually reproduce, harvest crops, and uhm starve and die of course ^^
Moloch Horridus
Pacing of this game reminds me of the original Settlers-series (mainly played the first and second iterations) and I find it quite enjoyable.

Erik
I hope they make it more difficult though, once you learn that fishing docks really blow you can make it pretty easily. and i only had one hurricane in all my game hours, and it didn't even hit. RoboMat
Unless some mod introduces at least some basic form of terraforming it stays on my shelf...
Marinus
I thought I give you all a heads up this one is for sale on Steam this week. It's a rather slow-paced often relaxing yet also challenging city-builder/survival game. Once you get the hang of it, it's fairly easy to keep the balancing act up for a long time, but almost always some unforeseen circumstance will throw a stick in your spokes, leading to one of the notorious death spirals this game is kinda known for. Also Malthusian catastrophes. Jsnazz
MaxStrategy
It's a great game! Would it blow your mind to learn it has a one-man dev team?
Ghosk
It's great indeed (even if I still want the ability to fight), though it misses multiplayer and without that it feels quite repetitive after some time.
Skinnyman
Not that much in city builders, but my brother used to play it and I must admit, pretty good, if not great, game!
