Building wooden floor on second floor - the ambient got some issues!

Question

Hello! I don't know if what happened was a issue or something that I don't get with my logic. Me and my friends took a building in Riverside to make as a base, and I started building wooden floor on the second floor. The point is: the area I expanded with this floor are considered as outside ambient. So I can't use any refrigerator, microwave, nothing electrical and neither place a bed here cause it get cold at night. The strange thing is that there's an entire roof above this floor and I can access the rooftop and do everything I want in this perimeter. Is there something I did wrong or it is a bug?

Thank you for your attention!

Currently if you try to build rooms inside other rooms it will not work, since that area had no "rooms" created before in the original building it was considered as being "outside".
Which means even if you build there it will most likely not create a new room, though you can try building a room surrounded by just player built walls and see if that does anything.
