Option to change in game time ratio

Hello, PZ team. This is a suggestion for solo plays, adding an option to change the time ratio for day/night cycles.  

1 hour for every 24h in-game feels i get little done.  

 

Perhaps that could be something to consider. 

I'm quite a few hours in but did not realize you had to select a sandbox game to make the game the way you l ike it.

You can change day length in the time tab of the sandbox setting, from 15 minutes per day, all the way up to real time(also known as 24 hours per day). Unfortunately, you can't change how long the days or nights are compared to each other, if that is what you meant by time ratio.

Whay only in singel play? Whay not in Co-op and MP`?

You can in MP as well. 

 

C:>Users>"Username">Zomboid>Server>severtest_SandboxVars

 

Open and you will find this:

 

 DayLength = 3,

 

You can change that number to change the length of a day on  your server. 

 

DayLength = 1,   (15 Minutes)

DayLength = 2,   (30 Minutes)

DayLength = 3,   (1 Hour)

DayLength = 4,   (2 Hours)

DayLength = 5,   (3 Hours)

 

....

 

on and on until a full 24 real life hours equals a day in game as well. Realtime.

Does anyone know of there are any issues playing the game on real time mode? Do all the tasks take 24 times longer to complete? Does hunger, thirst, tiredness, or fatigue accumulate at a 24x rate?

 

I feel like I've tried it out once before, but can't remember why I didn't continue with it.
