FeFe
There's not much to explain, bodies shouldn't just be traits. Fat zombies have reduced mobility, make more noise (which may attract more zombies to you), can break wooden fences but cannot go through small windows, the same should be true for the player, but him could not jump high fences. . CaptKaspar
I agree. At the very least they should have different body models. Different heights too. HEL City Survivor, FeFe, Combiner and 1 other
HEL City Survivor
Yes, please! I want to play a fat, donut munching cop! Combiner, Masmassu and FeFe 1
HEL City Survivor
Just now, HEL City Survivor said: Yes, please! I want to play a fat, donut munching cop! Hmm. Do we have donuts in the game? Don't remember seeing any. :/ FeFe
CaptKaspar
Google tells me that 36.6% of the residents in KY are obese. So maybe a 1/3rd of the zombies stumbling about should have a larger model? Makes sense to have them move slower, but are harder to push back, etc FeFe, HEL City Survivor and Combiner
ScoutSixty
I’d love to see this as well FeFe
Combiner
Agreed ! It's a bit weird when your character is out of shape and overweight but still looks fit. Different zombie models would also add more variety to the world.
Toshis
Not as simple as it might seem. All 3D apparel models would have to be adjusted to different size zombie/character models. HEL City Survivor
gromit
I'd imagine they'd use morph targets for fat and thin variants and have it scale along to suit the character's current levels of chubbiness. They could do the same with strength and height too. I wouldn't rule it out happening later down the road, so long as it doesn't hammer performance that is. Mr_Tonic
Also zombies could become thin and skeletal after a number of ingame months, making them look even creepier

That's not at all how the models work, sadly...
