Hi all,

Thank you for looking at this post. I am currently having a issue when a mod I have created will not show on the mods section. I also need help that I may have missed a file or files for loading up the mod. I am currently making a new vehicle mod that I want to test on single player before uploading onto the steam workshop. I have put the mod in the location on my C: Drive where the example mod is and should be there but does not show up on the mods section even though I have check all the places it could be. The mod ID is the same as the mod name. I have posted my file structure and files as screenshots. Please advise if I am missing any lua files that may effect loading the mod.

I guessing any missing files will be lua. Lua folder;

Am I missing any files appart from the image that will be a screen shot of the mod working later? Any help would be apprecated as I am struggling and cannot find much about the current way to add a custom car mod.

Your mod.info file is a mod.info.txt file.

You need to open it, then save as, then select "all files" and then name it mod.info - When you see it in your folder the "type" should be INFO file not Text Document.

Ah cheers I actually fixed that before I saw this. Just wondering I have another issue after the mod loads in as the cars do spawn in the world as shadows. What causes cars to be shadows? Is there a option I need to turn off or on when exporting or is it a coding issue?

From help from the community I managed to get two of the three cars working. THe 3rd car has the same code and area boxes butthe character will not get into the car but can open the hood and trunk. I made the areas bigger in the debug vehicle editor but is there anyway to fix the car so player can enter?

The other two cars work fine and work correctly with no issues but its just this one. As you can see the enter areas for each seat are nice and large for the model but character cannot enter vehicle
