Kapocss
41.61 Multiplayer Hosted No Reproduction steps: N/A I was trying to play on my friend's hosted game, but I was always getting the "Failed to download map from server" error, when I pulled up the console it seems that it stops sending over information at one specific map chunk. Noone else had this issue out of like a 7-8 people group, I had usually 150-300 max ping on the server the few initial times it worked (and weirdly enough when we tried hosting on my end, even one of my friends who was averaging around 600+ ping didn't get this issue. Hosting a new map seems to have fixed it. I'll also attach a couple screenshots I made from my console. logs.zip Edited December 15, 2021 by Kapocss
HerioJohnX
Same problem here. There are 2 things that I feel odd: - We have totally 6 player including the host, everyone able to join except me. - Yesterday night I was able to join and participate in the game, until today, I didn't touch PZ at all before I faced this problem. Here is what I tried but didn't fix the problem: - Verified local file using the steam feature - Restart my PC - Reinstall the whole game - Ask the host to restart the game - deleted and unsubscribe all the mod - Try to host another MP game before join the server. Attached to this is my console report. Edited December 15, 2021 by HerioJohnX
SnakyCake
I get these errors constantly too. Most times it fails before it loads even 1/289 map chunks. Sometimes I get around 40 loaded before this happens, but always ends up booting me back to desktop excatly same as the OP. Edited May 30, 2022 by SnakyCake change previous 400 something number to 289 for map chunk loading error.
