-beaumont-
Hi,is there any information when the update will be available via direct download on Desura? The version there is still v2.9.9.17 (170011).
nasKo
As soon as there is a stable version.Hopefully Desura will support beta branches in the future so people can opt into optional beta releases.

Whereas, luckily, Steam supports the latest 'beta alphas' or 'alpha betas' (or whatever) now. All that bleeding-edge PZ build loveliness!
-beaumont-
Ah, now I get it: I can't see it since it is not a polished version. I was afraid you forgot us non-DRM-advocates. Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks for the clarification. The Steam version doesn't have a DRM either. It doesn't use Steamworks. You can buy it through Steam (or rather activate the game on there, since as a Desura user you already have one) and never ever launch the Steam client (except to switch to the beta branch and uhh...let the game update through Steam of course).
