MrTrololo
currently the only way to have energy after power cuts out is fuel powered generator, but there are other ways to produce electricity: -solar cells-most efficient during sunny days and in certain degree during cloudy days, won't produce any energy at night -windmill that could be build with car alternator and metal components, would require skills in electrical and welding, also require maintenance from time to time additionaly something what would store produced electricity-battery array(or battery bank if you prefer) it's just properly connected car batteries together, would require skills in electricity and electrical wire as well in amounts that depends from quantity of batteries in array to connect them(the more the merrier) Jack Bower and DaNeo
