Aluminum Bat

My idea is that now next to our old wooden bats we have the metal ones.

Pros

  • Would have twice the durability of a normal bat
  •  Would do slightly more damage
  • Would be a bit more common

Cons

  • Would be quite a bit heavier than your normal bat
  • You can't make a spiked bat (It's made of metal)
  • Would allow you to become fatigued faster (exhausted)

Thought about it too, just to add on the Cons though, it makes more noise as they are hollow, i think, sounds like it in reallife though.

I don't have much experience with baseball bats but metal ones wouldn't last all that long. Hitting balls they bend and dent easily. Against a skull it wouldn't survive. As they are lighter they would have much less force behind them. Less force=less killing power.
