PZ Crashing Randomly on new Laptop

Killingkye

Question

Hi Theindiestone,

I am out of my mind crazy how much I love this game, but playing it on my new laptop is killing me!

A bit of background: I have an old laptop (Alienware R2) and a Desktop PC. PZ works fine on these. I recently bought an Alienware 17 51MR2 and it keeps crashing randomly.

I have tried the following:

PZ and Mods: Tried both x32 and x64 versions. Tried with my normal mods and vanilla. Tried turning settings down low. I have also ran as administrator.

Drivers: I have reinstalled NVidia my drivers (As of 06/01/21 GeForce Game Ready Drive v472.12), Reinstalled my Intel Integrated Drivers via removing the driver and installing via Windows updates and the official Intel website (Just incase?) (Intel UHD630 - v30.0.100.9864)

Java: Used both v9 and latest versions of JRE-JDK. I have also upped the available memory that it can use via the PZ bat files.

Microsoft Visual C++: I have updated to the latest version (v14.29.30133.0)

Every time the game crashes, I cannot see any errors in the PZ console (Attached), however I do see errors in the event viewer for...

OpenGL:

  <Provider Name="NVIDIA OpenGL Driver" />

Thanks for all the logs, though in the log you sent there are some mods being loaded, which can cause crashes even if the logs wont show it exactly. Could you share a console log where the crash happens without any mods? Additionally, can you tell us when it usually happens? Is it random or does it happen at similar intervals? And have you checked whether it is an issue with overheating? Which can definitely be an issue on more powerful laptops such as thing one.
