Can't pick up corpses in/near default building.

Happy to provide a save file if possible/necessary.
I'm hosting a local multiplayer server that me and my girlfriend play. No mods, nothing special. 
We're storing our stuff in one of the default houses in Muldraugh and I can't pick up corpses that are near/inside of the house. 
However, I can pick up corpses that are outside of the house easily.

Now I also notice that the same seems to go for right click actions in general in this house for some reason, and yet if I want to go perform right-click carpentry actions in nearby houses it works just fine...
