Why, just why, is it so hard to implement the MP with the new version, when it runs so smooth within the previous versions? Is it that hard to have the same system as the previous had? MP before was terrible, thrown together in a short time. And while it worked and was playable enough it was not enough for us to throw in underdeveloped especially as the significant upgrade Build 41 is. Players teleported everywhere, double combat on zombies was atrocious, zombies lag and bite or scratch you, there's black wall loading screens that force you to disconnect from the game and reconnect every so often. Build 41 brought a pretty significant new amount of players to it, and there's no way they'd stick around for a shoddy MP architecture and give the game the game a boost it deserves. Also, in a game like PZ, there's not really any leeway from getting lag or teleporting zombies. One bite and it's over. In short, it was bad, B41 is a significant upgrade, and MP needed the love that B41 got in general, it was long long overdue to scrap it and develop a better architecture for the future of the game, allowing the game to be player fairly, and have more fun. Easy. It wasn't smooth: it had player-killing issues on both small and larger servers. The new "version" sounds more like a new engine completely, a wholly different product than what they were working with before. A simple copy/paste solution wouldn't cut it.
