Took down walls but game still thinks there's a room, even after a relog, is there anything I can do?

in short, the game still thinks there are walls here.

 

https://gyazo.com/37fbe7c9e3904b503705b2d3679e514a it's especially bad here, since I was going to expand this garage towards it's side. my whole plan was to take down this building, even built scaffolding and took down every tile of roof, is there anything I can do at this point?

There is nothing you can do about this unfortunately. There are plans to fix this issue in the future, but - as I hope you understand - this is not a priority atm.

I'm guessing that removing the roof doesn't work. 

 

Is this an issue with only world map buildings, or does this include player built structures?
