johndough
Does anybody have a good LUA syntax validator to recommend? I'm a bit tired of running the game to squash out every minor syntax error. I found this: http://doris.sourceforge.net/lua/weblua.php but it is kind of limited.
Aricane
No sorry, maybe the lua eclipse plugin works?
RoboMat
Well the eclipse plugin gives some feedback but it is far from perfect to be honest.
Austin
I tried getting the lua eclipse plugin, but that didn't work out well. I'm sticking with Notepad ++
RoboMat
I also suggested a few others in my modding tutorials. Maybe you like one of those johndough. I stick to eclipse because I'm simply used to it.

RobertJohnson
The Indie Stone recommend : IntelliJIdea ! I really don't like the package/hierarchy representation, but it helps a lot to avoid those little mistake (forget to put an end, etc.), also it detect nil reference, etc... But you'll see, after a while you won't make that kind of error anymore

EDIT: Now that I have tested it I can say: It's glorious!!!
