Please post here for map specific bugs like invisible walls, glitches, pathing problems, etc. Thanks everyone! Try to post screenshots in spoilers or videos whenever possible.

 

 

 

Map-specific issues:

Hello there,

 

this thread is the place to post all your map-related problems (missing walls, wrong window placement, kitchens without sinks, etc...).

Please follow these guidelines when reporting a problem:

  • Download the Coordinate-Viewer and place the .lua file in your /media/lua folder. (The viewer can be de-/activated ingame by pressing P)
  • When you find a problem in the game, take a screenshot that includes the coordinates of the map object.
  • Please wrap any screenshots you post in "thumbnail" tags.
  • Make sure to describe the problem as closely as possible.
  • Add the version of Project Zomboid in which you encountered the problem. (Important!)

There was quite a lot of stuff posted in the thread on the old forums - I'm assuming we'll be able to see them in an archive or similar?

That shack that is in between the train station and the NE caravan park... If you are to draw a line from the two, it is a little off centre to the right and up... but directly SW of that shack is an invisible wall that is pretty large.

 

EDIT: Also... the train station rains on the inside despite it having a roof :)

Just a note that I went through all of the old thread and fixed what I could. I appreciate you guys running RoboMat's mod, as that made things WAY quicker!

A few things:

  • I did not fix places where you could get stuck, because it's likely we'll be fixing that code-wise in the future.
  • There were a lot of reports of "missing walls"... those were intentional. Not all the rooms have a door to them :)
  • the ghost houses where you can walk through walls is a collision problem, not a map issue

No prob'. On the old board I posted every indoor building bug I could find for v2.9.9.8. With v2.9.9.10 some new ones have popped out of nowhere.

 

X: 3384 Y: 2255 | Bathroom in trailer doesn't have a bathtub, even though it has the screen for one.

Not that it is important, but I have updated the coordinate viewer. It now rounds the coordinates and also uses the correct key-recognition. De-/Activating it should work much better now :)

 

Btw. I somehow can't use the

[thumbnail][/thumbnail]

tags anymore on this forum ... it doesn't work with imgur nor with imageshack links :( Any suggestions?

RoboMat, what I do with ImageShack is take the forum link code and replace the url code in it with the direct link url code.

No coords sorry, but I noticed something that might help. I had non walkable grass tiles just a few tiles to the south of the cortman medical center. I was sure that they were not there minutes before. So I experimented, I walked a good two screens away and then returned. The non walkable tiles had reverted back to normal walkable tiles.

Sounds like the hidden wall issue instead of a map issue.
