Death white screen from the last game will keep being displayed after you start a new game

After you dies in a previous game and starts a new character, the white screen that is displayed when you die will keep being displayed on that new game.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Start a game
2. Find a zombie
3. Let the zombie kill you
4. Start a new game
5. Notice that the death white screen will be displayed in that new game

 

Additional Info:
Even if the player exits the house, the screen will keep white and it seems like the player's character is dead.

 That appears to be fog. If you're pressing Continue on the Main menu or New Character on the death screen, you're not starting a new game. You're creating a new character in the same game. So the weather would be the same as it was at time of death.
