Zombo82
hi. been playing arround with some mods recently and somehow it seems its not so easy to show letters like Öö. Ää, Üü or ß propperly. Example strange is, in the original files (translastion -> DE) in the game folder its written for example "grün" (green) and ingame it is still "grün". but not the translation in the mod. do i have to define this somewhere in the mod files ? i am very new ish to this topic and would take any help / idea. EnigmaGrey
Perhaps a silly question, but do you have German selected in Options? Try copying and pasting a few chars from the base game’s translation to the mod’s translation. See if they show up properly in game. Could be file encoding if they don’t load; path issue if the translation isn’t in DE; or, maybe the os is outputting similar-looking but not identical chars? These are just guesses, however. I’ve never worked with translation files before.
