A1azar Posted August 12, 2015 Share Posted August 12, 2015 I have the newest version of the mod. Im on 64 Win7. No problem man, im glad to give any feedback. I understand it is an ungrateful task to make a mod for an alpha with all those frequent updates and what not. Actually I tried a couple of other weapon mods (the most popular ones) and have the same hard-to-hit problem with them. Melee weapons work just fine. Maybe the problem is in my system. We have had to remove Hydrocraft because the creator insists that older versions are not used or distributed, the latest of which has wrecked our server requiring a restart. I don't have any experience with servers, but I'm not getting any errors on single player. I removed all of the items that are no longer used, which was the only thing that was causing me errors. It is absolute fine in single player and only have issue with multiplayer server. You can start a Server in the game directory( a script called ProjectZomboidServer.bat).(It will create a folder names Zomboid in at same directory with your My Docunment folder (usually C:\users\Username\)) Maybe add some null handle in the code ?Also it might be during the register of the item to the table that spawn loot during the zombie creation in multiplayer. I dont know if its the outdated 3dModelloader ... But Iam guessing its a combination of that and your mod. When I save and load back into my save.... My clothes are all glitched out. Like really wack. I have other mods that add books... and new traits... and the ORMtn gun mod. When I have those activated minus yours its fine. When I throw on yours... My clothes go all weird. mrblonde Posted December 2, 2015 Share Posted December 2, 2015 Shame your mod does not work online, well it did for a breif moment, a group of 4 was all excited for this mod. We even found a few round of .22 an even a metal baseball bat. And then nothing you can tell the mod has stopped working because we have raided to police stations and one gun shop and nothing. Patriot420 Posted February 27, 2016 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Not sure if its only me, BUT the AK 47, MP5, and custom pistols besides the .38 special don't have sound? everything works right besides that. if this isn't a bug on my end could you add the default sounds to the guns so they have atleast some sound?and if this is a problem on my end is there a special folder the sounds need to be added to? the guns show up and shoot fine. all the artwork is there but no sounds for the guns, the reload sound does work thoEDIT: Ok so after so researching on how the lua files work. got the sound to work. the 33 build of your mod is missing the 9mm shot sound or it can't locate it in the game directory, one of the two. i side stepped this problem by using the other sounds in your sound pack so i have all the pistols using the FIRE_38 sound and the MP5 using the FIRE_M4QD2. The ar-15 i have using the FIRE_M4QD file. great mod. i only wish the 9mm sound was there to use to anyone who wants to do as i did, find the 'TommyGuns Ranged Weapons.txt' file under C:\Users\(user name)\Zomboid\mods\TommyGuns\media\scripts and change the 'SwingSound' parameter to any of the sound files names in C:\Users\(user name)\Zomboid\mods\TommyGuns\media\soundmake sure to exit and reload the game after you change anything, if you have it running.
