Ergenta
Hello, is there a way to revert back to 41.45? There's some mods that don't work properly on 41.46 and I'm wondering if there's a way to revert back. Also, is there a way to prevent future updates unless I manually do it? Steam automatically updates but that tends to break things. Thanks
Toshis
Yeah, choose "build41 - build 41 beta", it will be 41.

Toshis
Weird... When i was on "build41 - build 41 beta" , game version was 41.45 and it didnt update, but when i switched to "Iwillbackupmysave - public test version..." it changed to 41.
Ergenta
Yeah, I purposely kept the client open because I knew an update came but I had to restart my computer which messed everything up. Anyone know how to move back to 41.15 or at least stop automatic updates?
nasKo
Not if you didn't make a backup of the game yourself by making a copy of the installation folder. "build41" and "iwillbackupmysave" are identical.
Ergenta
Mean the entire Zomboid folder? Even then you can't start the game without steam auto updating it so how would you bypass that?
Maris
What mods are broken now? Btw I think the mod is not good if it has to be updated by its author on every game update (e.g. replacing txt or lua files).

The problem is that mod authors have to worry about two versions of the game at the moment. Build 40, which is still being used by Multiplayer PZ communities, and Build 41. Ergenta
G.E.A.R Advanced It makes weapons swing between the legs and it's quite annoying. I know other mods have a similar issues now.
dyre
Yeah running into the same problems with the update breaking mods (mostly notably Superb Survivors). Also, the JS-2000 shotgun animation is upside down for some reason. Unfortunately I think we're just going to have to wait until build 41.47 to solve these problems... MrCouper
I'm pretty sure in steam you can turn off auto updates, even for a specific game. steam will tell you there is an update but you've got to initiate it. lol I hope this helps your future endeavors.
