In this new patch it says: "- Sugar and coffee now drainable items (due to be reverted in next patch due to internal rethink)".

 

But it doesnt says anything about losing it from your inventory!

I had some coffe and sugar stored in my kitchen and its all gone. I'm not using any mods at all and i'm sure i didnt eat them/throw them because i was eating the food from my crops.

 

I'll have to loot for more i guess.

Becoming drainable and back has changed the nature of Sugar and Coffee items in game. Unfortunately, that means that previous "type" no longer exists in the world and that is what causes a de-spawn (hope this makes sense  )

I expected something like that, yeah. I hope the ones playing with sleepy characters can overcome the vanishing of that coffe.

Sorry, but i dont undersdand, what did they mean by saying "drainable"?  what has changed from how it worked before? Coffee packs used to have limited amount of uses and it would disappear when you used all of it, how has it changed?

This means that these items now have a delta. those. they are consumable ... have a smooth flow ... to bits ... they can be "poured".

There's two types of "food" items – type food, most of the food, can be eaten (1, 1/2, 1/4) or added to recipe when it loses some hunger and nutrition but always spawn as whole, or drainable which can't be eaten and adding it to recipe has some bugs currently (no nutrition and other food values, also can be added unlimited time).
