Summer Protective Clothing

unfortunately, I don't think so.  just like the real world, the more protection something offers, the more it will insulate you/raise your temp.   Even mesh motorcycle armor gets uncomfortably hot(at least until your going a good speed and then the second you stop or are going slow [maybe 15-20 mph or under] you heat right up again).  And that's not even taking humidity into account.

This is quite good I think. In summer, food is easier to come by and frost is not a problem, but you may overheat and armor protection incurs more penalty.

In winter, food is difficult but protection and insulation synergizes better.
