islover99 Posted September 21, 2020 Share Posted September 21, 2020 Hello, I just started a dedicated server for PZ on Friday and in 3 RL days, my server has advanced 5 total months. We don't have even close to 72 total RL hours logged on this new server. The way it's configured now is that 1 hour of RL time equates to a full 24 hours of in-game time. In addition, we have the option for the server to pause when it's empty. The server's date is currently: 08/12 The server started on March 1st according to the Startyear, StartMonth, StartDay. The server isn't publicly accessible, has a password, and only a few friends of mine are playing on it. I'm stumped by this, and did not find any information on this potential issue, so I'm turning to the forums for help. Does anyone see anything wrong with the below? EnigmaGrey Posted September 21, 2020 Share Posted September 21, 2020 Not sure what to make of that — quick math suggests it’s running on 30 minute days. Was day length changed while the server was running? If so, was it through editing the text file or server commands? (I also need to double check that 3 is the correct value. Just can’t right now.) Artfu1D0dger Posted September 21, 2020 Share Posted September 21, 2020 I noticed you have a fast forward multiplier set; did someone log in and play on their own and use the fast forward button? also i think if you sleep and are the only person on the server it will fast forward the time that you are sleeping Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
islover99 Posted September 21, 2020 Author Share Posted September 21, 2020 According to the thread below, DayLength = 3 is equal to 1 RL hour of time for a full 24 hours in-game and that fast forward multiplier is the default , 40.0 so, that's unchanged and I've confirmed that no one on the server was sleeping for an extended amount of time.
