Zork
Every time I open Indiestone, I hear a little 'pop' in my headphones, and I hear it again when I close the forum. Soundcard polling is a JS fingerprinting mechanism. Why!? Please turn that horrible junk off. Nothing in this forum uses sound.

Zork
Ah, cheers. Notifications are blocked globally in my browser. Autoplay is blocked globally. I still get that weird 'pop' every time I open or close an Indiestone tab. But if it's not fingerprinting, consider my complaint void.

When I click the https lock icon next to the URL I get a dropdown where I can select "Site Settings", from there I can disable "Sound" which is set to automatic by default for me. Maybe disabling that alltogether for the site prevents that pop?
