Opening TMX/LOT files on 0.2.0q?

Hey!

I need co-ordinates without having to go in game and output the current co-ordinates into the console. I tried opening the gen.tmx file in TileZed, and it does not work.

And to save everyone some effort from typing it, yes I know 0.2.0q is a year old and it's unlikely that I'll get much help on the matter. Worth a try, eh? :D

Cheers,

-Sam

Best to check the old forums at www.theindiestone.com/community

Already did, they all point to TileZed, and I can't get it to work. Nor can I find a guide for setting it up (well, one that is in-depth).

Easiest to use google to search them; add "site:theindiestone.com" to your google search.

Did that, and the download is broken: http://www.theindiestone.com/community/viewtopic.php%3Ff=34&t=7406.html

Most links use a different method for breaking down forum and post ID than the current archived forums, unfortunately.

You're pretty much stuck finding someone who has the old mod tools and tilez, Sam.

Hrm, that's an unfortionate side effect to the archive. I'm not sure I can fix that, since the old forums, when live, are pretty much a security threat to the server :/

It's pretty simple to decode -- I'll post the method when I have some more time, assuming Skype keeps records that far back (just reformatted my system).

I've already figured out how to access the archived pages that bring 404: replace ? with "%3F" and add .html at the end.

Seems like it. However, I think the missing piece of my puzzle is the official map tools. You reckon the developers have it lying around somewhere?
