my PZ does not start

Question

so i just bought project zomboid i could open it once and play so i just bought project zomboid i could open it once and play normally.
 until i close it and after trying to play again my game wouldn't open and the cmd just says:

Can you try verifying your game files?

Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Local Files > Verify Local Files

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the game completely, it seems like the file could have gotten corrupted somehow, which is preventing the game from starting.
