Problems with 41.24

I have experienced a few major problems with the new patch. Problems that I didn't have prior to this week's patch and that I find immensely frustrating. I have prepared a few clips from my stream that showcase these issues. I'd like to apologize for raging, I got fed up with it and I have a bad temper.I love you Indie Stone devs! ❤️

 

Shooting windows with guns :

 

First of all, why? Why is that so important that it had to be added to the game? I see absolutely no reason to add that.   Now if you added it and it worked fine, sure. I don't see why not. But when it starts making my life miserable, I'm not too happy with it. Especially given how useless of a game mechanic it is. Why would I care about shooting a window when I can smash it open with a weapon? Makes no sense. In Clip 2, I wasted those 4 rounds because my character could not acquire a target properly. I could not aim at the zombies in front of me. I could either aim at the window or the zombie behind it. Oh but hey, you can shoot at windows, but not through them. So all those shots were for naught.

Zombie turning animation and decreased pursuit timer :

 

Zombies lose aggro way too quickly ever since the last update. A zombie turning animation is cool and all but this is making gameplay much easier than it should be. It's getting difficult to get them to follow you. Luring is an important survival strategy. In clip 4, I'm literally mashing Q to get them to turn around and see me. Normally, I wouldn't even have to yell.

Downed zombie killing animation bug :

 

Sometimes, when a downed zombie is on the floor, you get stuck in a killing animation, even if you're nowhere near stabbing distance of the downed zombie. I've nearly died to it a good 8 times since you guys rolled out the update, last Thursday. I think it has something to do with the hitboxes (which are totally broken by the way.) I have no clip of it, 5 hours of footage to sift through.

 

Again, apologies for raging in the clips. I didn't intend on using bits of my stream to showcase these issues but here I am now. Needs some fixing.

That "Window Bug" sure is frustrating. Died several times to that one now. It's always the same: Zombie right in front of me, but the PC hits the window behind it. Or Zombie in the doorway in front of me, but PC hits the window next to the door. And always, PC's orientation / combat stance is perfect in relation to the attacking zombie. Also not panicked or other bad moodlets. That really shouldn't happen. So right now there's several kinds of encounters you've got to outright avoid in order to stay safe.
