Stuck on start menu

Stuck on start menu, without any Start / play button.
-did waited for long still none
-reinstall the game still not working
-Trying to delete from C:\user\Zomboid still not working
i did ever downloaded (excuse me) crack version its working. i love the game so i tried to collect money to support and buy it on steam. but the game kinda not working too well.
help.

Could you try going to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media and deleting the \lua\ folder?

Then, in Steam, right click PZ -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify local files button to download a fresh copy.

 

Don't know why it's failing in that specific spot, as it works here, so it could just be down to Steam failing to load a couple files or something. Uninstalling through Steam often isn't good enough to fix this.
