Instantly Scratched Opening Car Door

I was inside a car and a zombie was outside of the car. When I pressed E to get out, I was instantly scratched before actually getting out of the car.

it's not visible yet but when you leave your car you open the door first but you're still inside and if the door is open then zombies can attack you (same thing with open window).

That's my explanation, maybe I'm wrong and it's a bug

You can change seats in a car before exiting. This should prevent your char from getting scratched until the issue is resolved.

I've a feeling this might be it. You're vulnerable the very instant your windows or doors are open, and even getting into a car you're not safe until you hear the door close sound. One of my personal survival rules is if there's zombies near the car, never get out on the side facing them. Other main car ones being never let them touch the driver-side window, it's the most important one (I always break a passenger window if I'm in a hurry to jack a car), and never ever let a group surround the car. Yes, all lessons learned the hard way :V

It just seems like a bug. As SOON as I pressed E there was a scratch noise
