duanethebathtub Posted August 23, 2019 Share Posted August 23, 2019 It would be so useful to be able to rename storage containers or put signs up in front of them for what they are. I am aware backpacks and guns can be renamed (with mods) but not crates, etc. Curious why this isn't a feature or no one has created a mod for this? It would be so helpful in organizing everything. Okamikurainya Posted August 24, 2019 Share Posted August 24, 2019 It would be hard to apply naming of containers without it being immersion breaking or redundant, in my opinion. If it's just floating text above the container, it would look sort of weird, or if it's a sign on or next to it then you'd probably be able to just check the container anyhow. I think a nice alternative would be the ability to use the ingame painting tools to paint crates a certain colour, allowing you to colour code your storage.
