Looking forward in improving the PZwiki, I'm planning on working on the world of Project Zomboid. I plan to give each of these locations their own detailed page. However, I'm not sure where to start, so I turn to you all and ask, what is your favourite location in Project Zomboid?
After about a month (or whenever I start working on it) the location with the most votes will (most likely) be the first to be given its own detailed article, followed by the second, then third and so forth.

Below are some details about each town/location with a map link.

1. Favourite major area?

Spoiler

Muldraugh

Where the new world of PZ began. This is likely the most memorable town to veteran PZ players and a major milestone in the history of the game's development. This has some interesting locations such as Cortman Medical and the Sunstar Motel. Note that the railyard and McCoy Logging Co. will be mentioned but not gone into any amount of detail (they'll eventually have their own pages).

Dixie

Named after Dixie Hwy in which it is situated and Dixie mobile park. This is a small area which will include both the caravan park and the crossroads to the North.

West Point

The second major location added to PZ and the first integration of the mighty Ohio river, which acts as the border between Kentucky (South) and Indiana (North).

Valley Station (and surrounding area)

The Northern most town currently in PZ and sits on the Ohio river. This is a small neighbourhood and the first implementation of the city of Louiseville, sitting on outskirts, separating farmland from the suburbs. This will also include the surrounding area bordering Pond Creek, such as the gun range and race track. However, this may not include the farmland to the far East. (I'd personally like to avoid this area since it has potential to change with the Louiseville expansion)

Crossroads Mall

Also known as 'The Mall'. This is a massive building with a huge amount of stores, all of which will be covered and mapped out. This will also include the surrounding area, such as the Star-E-Plex Cinema, Knox Bank, and the strip of shops to the North. I'd also like to include the types of vehicles that are likely to spawn in the carpark, however that will largely depend on time. (This is a place I'd personally like to be mapped out)

March Ridge

March Ridge is a military town to the South of Muldraugh. The addition of Fort Knox is likely to be to the South East of March Ridge.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.36623006060080276,0.3575352166347939,18.960237249464583

Rosewood

Rosewood is a relatively small town, however it does have a large police station, fire department and various stores along the main street that passes through the centre of town. Knox Prison will be mentioned, however to a minimal level of detail, since it deserves its own article.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.32661397994320135,0.287530576313532,13.166831423239296

Knox Prison

Knox prison is a fairly popular location for both new players and veteran's, simply because it's a prison and suspected to be an ideal location to live out the apocalypse, assuming you can deal with all the infected prisoners that walk the cell blocks. Like the mall, I expect to completely map the entire prison and include potential vehicle spawns.

Unnamed Town (and surrounding farmland)

This town is in the direct centre of the current map. This is a rural area with a large amount of farmland, which is all expected to be covered in an unknown level of detail.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.44795819529606545,0.18550578300895548,27.302741639228998

Knox Heights Country Club

Knox Heights Country Club, Spa and Golf Course is a wealthy area with very few houses. I may include the number of holes on the golf course along with a predicted par for each hole. The main country club building will be covered in as much detail as possible.

Scenic Grove

Scenic Grove is a small rest area South West of Riverside. This includes Scenic Grove Mobile Home Park, a factory and auto repair shop.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.4745449980822612,0.08817056435733066,32.7632899670748

Riverside

This is the Western most town sitting on the mighty Ohio River, North of the country club. This is a wealthy town with a large gated community, school and long street with various types of shops running through the centre.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.5414034855312455,0.09273436334727486,15.800197707887154

2. Favourite minor area?

These are some other smaller areas that won't take nearly as long as the above places. If there's enough demand, I'll add these intermittently.

Spoiler

Crystal Lake-style campgrounds

This is a campground to the East of Muldraugh eerily similar to Crystal Lake from Friday the 13th. This might be a fun place to add since it seems a likely location for long-term settlement.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.6638185694904148,0.32204598514070537,67.9379580757263

Far West campgrounds

This is a very new area (added build 39) which looks like it'd be interesting to explore and document.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.3321833614659308,0.11960423574867464,18.96023724946458

Far West rest area

This place is also new (added build 39), similar to Dixie however much smaller, with only 4 houses. This is also one of the places that has a large stock of guns (and doesn't require a sledgehammer).

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.26917617955480316,0.1061844222350782,81.52554969087156

Factories near Muldraugh

These factories are to the South-West of Muldraugh. These aren't only 'factories' but also an auto repair shop, offices and a diner.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.4564663474071448,0.3146114483451625,47.17913755258771

Abandoned Railyard

Railyard to the East of Muldraugh. I don't know much about this place, so might be interesting to explore.

https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.5826061914212702,0.32720828598614227,24.224383386057813

If you yourself want to add any of these locations to the wiki, you don't need my permission, feel free to add or amend anything you'd like. But, if you'd like to collaborate with me into getting these added, then send me a message or ping me on Discord.

With vehicles, I like the Crystal Lake-style campgrounds. away from the hordes but close enough to Muldraugh and its environs for safe(ish) loot runs that don't take too long.  Plus water source and antique ovens are right there as well. Although the far west campgrounds are definitely more luxurious looking with less work required to start off.

Used to play West Point/Knob Creek area all the time until Riverside came out. It's definitely my favorite now.

It hits all the things on my list for starting up a new game. Just like West Point, it's next to the river with no shortage of fish or water and most importantly it also has a hardware store to pick up everything you could ever need for survival and building (outside of a sledge hammer). To top things off there's also a car junk yard and almost all the houses on the East side of town have garages, so the loot is good and plenty.

Since cars, after I get going there I tend to travel around exploring and just make my car my mobile base but I do like camping up at the country club or the park by the gas station where I can make an early mission to load up on gas.

Dang. I voted Riverside, since it was so close to it. You should have an option to change your vote before the poll closes.

I'm not sure that's possible

I'll keep your vote in mind though. I've already done a bit of work on Scenic Grove, so it might be one of the first to be added

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I got down there and there were two wood stoves. I built up the cabin next to the lake and it was a great base. At one point on a server that I play on the admin made it a "lore spot" w/ a freakin' wall around it - it was a super cool base.  I also like the country club neighborhood near Riverside - it has a river, some of the houses have fireplaces, and is partially fenced off. Still not as cool as the campgrounds though. =)  Oh yeah, I swear that I fished out the small lake at the campgrounds - I don't think it was Winter - and when I moved down to the larger lake near it didn't have fish either.

I'm disappointed to see no love for the mall :(

Btw, I'll be keeping all these comments in mind once I actually start writing the pages for each location. So if there's anything you like about each place or even a strategy you tend to stick to, let me know.
