Sacryn Posted August 20, 2018 Share Posted August 20, 2018 We're a couple of friend running a dedicated server. All was fine and dandy until we try to connect to our characters from a new computer. Upon which we get prompted by the character creation screen. Are characters on dedicated servers stored on the client, or are we missing something? Would be a hassel to sync your character between computers all the time, instead of having them owned by the server. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dr_Cox1911 Posted August 20, 2018 Share Posted August 20, 2018 Characters are stored on the client, so you would have to copy the savegame everytime you switch PC. You could also move your Zomboid-Folder to a cloud-folder that gets synced (look here at the cachedir option). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
