Bwyan
Hello. In collaboration with the admins of the Redboid community server, we have discovered a bug that prevents Linux clients from joining Windows-based servers. It seems that there is a mismatch between the contents of the "media/lua" folder between the clients. Specifically, the Linux client has the following file, which is not present in the Windows client: lua/client/OptionScreens/WorldScreen.lua This causes Linux clients attempting to connect to show the following error message: "You have been kicked because your game files do not match the server's.". This is also reflected in the attached screenshot. Removing the above mentioned file on the Linux client, seems to completely resolve the issue. A few system details: OS: Kubuntu 18.04 Kernel: Linux {redacted} 4.15.0-29-generic #31-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jul 17 15:39:52 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux PZ version: 39.67.5 (Steam) Please let me know if you have any further questions.
