"Take some dirt"

I'm not certain if this is a bug or if I missed a patch note.

 

In 37.67.3 when I was setting up my garden, to make dirt lines I was able to pull dirt from the same spot to fill a sack repeatedly.  Now (37.67.5) I get the right click option to "Take some dirt", but the character won't dig up anything.  I can dig once from undisturbed areas, which leads me to think it's part of an intentional change.  However, the right click option still shows, and you can't pick up dirt you laid down previously from a sack (which was also previously possible).
