Kuren
So about the new areas I've only explored a bit up West of Riverside but found a really cool little camp site type area to make home for now Figured I'd share my findings so far and give people a place to share their own as well Areas updated map for reference: https://projectzomboid.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/themapfixed-1.png Spoiler Here's my little picnic paradise Found around here (down the road that zigzags by the river): https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.399688776188724,0.04111736457907705,53.373604198312115 Small Gas Station (on now dirt road entrance): https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.39103131416494136,0.04438661825081105,191.24727379019131 Spoiler Parking Lot down the road (with bathrooms) to the North: Spoiler Gift Shop with apartment and storage on second floor: Spoiler Outside (with custom deck for generator): Inside Downstairs (Gift Shop): Upstairs Apartment (Storage and Stairs to the South -Custom Deck to the East - Bedroom on the North - Bathroom to the West): Path outside gift shop leading North into the park/picnic area along the river: Spoiler Diner and Fishing Shop/Snack Bar to the West along river (Fishing Shop has small living space above it like the Gift Shop does): Spoiler Fishing Shop on the West (left side) and Diner on the East (right side). There's a couple two story houses nearby to the East as well as a few bigger farms with houses that direction on the way to Riverside. Sadly a couple were burned down so I couldn't get a great look at all of them but there's always next game lol Anyone gotten to explore the other areas updated? Wondering what the areas to the South of me and around Muldraugh and West Point that got updated are like Wanting to explore more but being cautious and trying to plan with my gas since the power just ran out and I'm feeling really comfy in this new spot right now

It's more of a picnic area than a camp site area since there aren't any docks or tents set up but it's definitely a place for camping and fishing if you want it to be (I would certainly bring a tent and camp out there irl if permitted and the building on the far West side had a lot of fishing books in it) but it's the area in my screenshots on the OP (under the "hidden contents" tabs). This shot is of the picnic area with the Gift Shop below and to the left of it and the Diner and Fishing Shop to the side (on the upper left):

Kuren
More Adventures in the expanded land of Zomboid I decided to to go out in my now decked out Franklin Valuline with a tent, fire kit and all the things I need to get by with so I can see some more of the new map Ended up finding a summer camp! Directions with screenshots on how to get there and find your way around below: Spoiler I'll write these directions from my picnic starting point (shown in my original post) found along the riverside here: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.4014157578849575,0.041447233482041455,31.26623610008584 Seen in-game here (minus the campfire and fishing nets): Now head out of the camp grounds, past the parking lot and down to the gas station with one pump to the South (bottom left direction). Found here: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.3911264168916972,0.044577798614440604,193.5922928522592 And seen here: Now head East (bottom right direction) to this point (where the road heading East changes size): https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.3930368028659401,0.046681406452286654,334.5274820487038 Take the larger road leading South (bottom left direction) seen here: (NOTE: Car is facing the toward the way back, not the way there) You'll pass one road to the East seen here: You'll see a gravel road ramping off ot the West seen here: Your turn leading to the summer camp is on the East right after that. A gravel road seen here: You'll pass a driveway for a little house seen here: Moving past that you'll eventually come to this fork in the road (head North-East [right screen direction] onto it): You'll quickly reach the dirt road leading to the camp and lodge along the way: Take the dirt road for a while and eventually take your first left (from the cars point of view). This will lead you to a "T" in the dirt road (that I forgot to screen cap). You can take a left at the "T" and this will lead you to a lodge with a stage to the North-West of it: Heading up the trail North from the stage will take you to a fork (the North-West direction leading into a maze of trails and the North-East one to the right takes you to a lake with some benches): Fork in trail: Lake at end of trail on right: Now To The Summer Camp!!! So if you head back down from the lodge or decide to take a right at the "T" in the dirt road that got you there you'll come up to a fork leading into the summer camp Fork to dirt road leading in (head North [upper right direction on screen] to get to summer camp): After following the dirt road deeper into the woods you'll find a dirt parking area with the entrance/reception building: Just right next door from the entrance to the North-West is a stage: If you head onto the trails leading West you'll start heading into the actual camp. I can't upload more pics to this post so see part two for the rest of the camp lol See next post for the rest of the summer camp pictures and directions
Kuren
Now that we've checked into camp we can see what there is to do Layout and Screenshots of summer camp below: Spoiler Heading down the trail to the West of the entrance you'll move past a small random building and find your way to the giant mess hall But along the way you'll find some trails up to the North-West that will take you to the soccer field: Moving past that you'll quickly get to the legendary mess hall! Seen in all its ginormous glory here: (Outside) (Inside) Just South of the mess hall is a classroom building: If you follow the trail leading South-West from there you'll find locker rooms and a pretty decent sized lake: I actually camped on the lake after finding it the night before exploring and screen capping it all: Now if you head back up past the mess hall and head up the crossroads of trails to the North-West of it you'll see a bunk and a shed: Head down the North-Western trail at that fork and you'll get to the tennis courts: Head farther North up the trail there and take it to the North-East and you'll find a tiny camp site: Or head the North-West direction and find a cabin with a small lake: (Not only does it have a fire pit outside but it's got a HAM Radio and wooden oven inside!) Now if you head back to the crossroads by the mess hall again you can head North to get to the last feature of Camp Zomboid I could find. The locker rooms. Bathrooms in center building with six or so locker room buildings on each side: And that's your walkthrough of the brand new Zomboid Summer Camp brought to you by Spiffo lol I do have to say the amount of dirt roads, trails and lakes out there is insanely awesome As a nomad/live-off-the-land type of player it's a ton of fun, getting to trek around trails with my camping gear
Inkie
I'm so glad I found this post, because I got SUPER LOST trying to get back to Riverside from the golf course. SOMEHOW I managed to go WAY WAY north and was completely confused. Thanks for sharing all the new hotness.
