IrishGod
My wife and I are playing 37.14. She hosts the game. I join and play fine for awhile. Then my entire pc freezes up. Not even ctrl alt del works. I tried multi core on off made no difference. I tried compatibility mode, didn't help at all. Sometimes I play for an hour before it freezes. Other times it will freeze after a few minutes. I'm using windows 7 pro 64 bit. Intel i7, 20 gig ram. Any help would be wonderful. I'm getting to the point were I don't want to play anymore. FinestHops
Well.... this could be caused by literally thousands of causes. Have you played together before with no issues? Does this also happen in single player? From a computer standpoint.... Possible overheating Possible GPU driver crash Possible hard drive corruption (a check disk would inform you if this were the case) Possible Solutions - To check for thermal issues... install something like "Open Hardware monitor" ( http://openhardwaremonitor.org/ ) Turn down graphics settings Update graphics drivers run chkdsk /f from a command promp From a game standpoint... Possible game file corruption - validate game files in steam Check the log in the c:/users/yourusername/zomboid folder. Either console.txt or coopconsole.txt and look for any obvious error messages at the end of them.
IrishGod
It has always been like this in multiplayer. I have no issues playing solo. I have an Amd Radeon HD 6950. I have no issues playing Diablo 3 online or 7 days to die online. Everything looked fine in Hardware monitor. I have driver tool kit so all my drivers are up to date. As for graphic settings, as I said I play game with much higher graphic requirements with no issues. I have validated my game files on steam. I could'nt find any file corruption in the files either.
