is there any reason the lighting in the game stutters between 2pm - 4pmish game time? or is it just my setup? i7 64 bit 16gb ddr4 gtx 970

 

edit : meant windows 7 pro 64 bit, obviously 16gb is 64

I couldn't disassemble the blow dryer in the food kiosk by the pool at the golf club, it wasn't showing the profession name so I figured I had the wrong tools out but no I had every single tool in my main inventory, even tried manually equipping the tools

Just lived 6 days purely in a car and never got bored/sad/depressed moodlets...

 

...but at day 4 and 5 i got slight damage with pain moodlet, seems reasonable since sitting/sleeping in a car for that long can get pretty painful.

On day 5 I also got panic moodlet, like when zeds are approaching, but I played with zeds on none.

 

I also noticed that the texture on the ranger car seemed mirrored, don't know if this was already posted, but here is a picture anyways.

Very much enjoy this update, we can now transfer items once again without fear of losing them!

This, however, unfortunately, does not apply to car keys. As the client to my bf's hosted game, I still lose almost every key to the cars I drive; however it may be fixed for the host, as my bf has yet to lose a single key. That said, we REALLY, REALLY appreciate that you put in the spawn key ability!! We no longer have to go through the pain of duping keys, or abandoning cars, so thank you for that! Just hope that one day, we won't have to cheat keys back in, either. ;)

We have, as Kim posted, also just noticed this texture bug with the fossoil and ranger trucks. It started out a fossoil, I left with it, and when he rejoined me, it was a park ranger truck for him, and fossoil for me. However, when we both exited the server, and rejoined, the truck was a park ranger truck for both of us.

I would love to see being able to install a ramming bar/grille guard on some vehicles, like the trucks. Would be nice to be able to splat some zeds without wrecking the oh-so-fragile headlights. :3

so this happened..

that car is floating like 10 feet in the air, this is how it happened, I sat the police car south of the mall and turned on the siren and gathered this lovely horde, than I wanted to move it so I used ghost mode and climbed inside it, well once I got inside it started lifting up onto the zombies heads than the car tilted sideways and stayed that way. I climbed out and was standing directly below it, lol it looked like the car was an inflatable one being crowd tossed.

if only we could enter the the van type vehicles   from the rear. 

 

List of vehicles that you should be allowed to enter from the back of the vehicle trunk area. (2 rear doors on the back)

Yep, I've had this happen MANY times (not finding a car floating in the air, but making one flip over like it) It can be finicky to reproduce, but the best way I've found is to park some where and leave the engine running, gather a horde to surround your car (like as many as are in the picture), and then try and drive off. Often the zombies will start to bounce you back and forth between  them like a ping-pong ball, with each bounce gaining more momentum until your vehicle crushes a bunch of the zombies and flies off somewhere.

So, finally got around playing the new patches with the new sounds for the cars. Boy, my ears are so grateful; I no longer feel like I am wearing a pair of headphones made out of broken lawnmowers. But still, there are some sound issues.

 

I've only tried it with my All-Terrain so far, but when you start the car, the sound kinda ''dips'' there at the beginning; if this happened in real life, I'd think my engine died on me right after starting it. If the engine's cold, it usually starts with the idle RPMs far far higher than when it's hot, hence a much louder start.

 

Another problem is that the sound seems to be coming from one side only; I use headphones, and it either sound more to the left or more to the right. And this is rather annoying.

 

Beyond that, I got a bit of a question. Are there any liveries for the Franklin All-Terrain?

@Minnigin : screenshot are they essential and usefull for all ? I'm in pain of mouse wheel !
Z buffer is known as "to resolve", so rooftop and objects behind appears yet.
With a link i click and see at once location on map.
Tails use the easiest way to locate problem without handling of others, at the same time shorten the post. 

I wait a little bit to post bugs and view.

with the good times of the vehicles build and everything that is great about it. I though of some cool sandbox features to add to Vehicles section in the sandbox mode here is a list of sandbox features to add. 

 

- Car battery Consumption something similar to the gas consumption rate that is in the game already

- Starting off with a vehicle at the start will come with a set of keys to the car. 

- Car parts Degrading rate from slow to fast.

So, about the invisible object I crashed into on my little roadtrip, I didn't found a post with similar issue, so here the bug:

 

I returned to the spot where it was, on the same save. It's still there. Checked same location on different save, object was not there, so probably something that spawnes at game start.

 

It stops cars, but not caracter on foot.

It has the size of one tile.

It blockes sight of line, and to all direction when standing on same tile.

 

This occured on Soloplay, pictures posted as spoilers...

Is that on the second (or was it third?) dirt road west of Rosewood? If so, I also crashed into it. It's an invisible tree; I chopped it down and it gave me 1 log. I didn't have gps coord mod and the location isn't on the map yet so I didn't report it because I didn't have any helpful location information. I was lucky it didn't even hurt me because I was going really fast at the time.

But an invisible tree on a road is technically still a bug, right?

 

So, here are the exact coordinates of an invisible tree: 6294,10920,0

 

Should have grabbed a coord mod sooner, lesson learned...

In my non-professional opinion an invisible object that can suddenly stop your vehicle at possible risk of death is definitely a bug. ;)

Immediate issues:

 

-Extremely glaring issues centered around the Country Club exist for maps. These 10 houses in particular: http://map.projectzomboid.com/?#0.4764981677671175,0.11905390884910143,50.90625217166628

Would recommend going through here and double checking the zoning.

 

This includes

-Trees blocking doors

-Paths not reaching the porches of houses

-Multiple houses missing light switches in various rooms

-Closet missing doors (coords unsure)

-No mailboxes

-No backyard decorations at all. Considering there are two doors leading to the yards per house, at least some clear land could be a temporary fix for this, currently both rear doors of each house just open up to dense forest, some trees right against the door.

-Replacing a car door does not fix a broken lock

 

-Need keys to take engine parts

 

-Muffler degradation is still too extreme, there should be easily defined reasons for this occurring I.E. backing into something or running over objects. Mufflers are not a part you are expected to swap out every couple of years, let alone every road trip. It's definitely improved, but a drive from Muldraugh to Riverside, on road with no obstacles, claimed 15 percent of the muffler. It's still faster than the gas consumption to a high degree, undeniably so.


-There appears to be a new texture issue with station wagons. A few edges seem to be 'masked' by olive green paint.

-6 seater vans no longer have windows (not sure if intentional) and are still very low to the ground.

 

(Will post longer post with engine rebuild feedback when I'm not dead, there's a little bit of logical leaps here that I believe can be fixed with simple compromises that both work towards making the game more playable without having to create too much)
