It worked for a limited time(perhaps because another invited into the house was still in the house), but once we were both out of the house and I logged back on, everything was off again and I had to restart gen to get lights on, despite that it was still running.

You'll have to shut down the server then delete it. Users will also have to delete their copy in %UserProfile%\Zomboid\saves\multiplayer\serverip_username

It's really more of a client-side thing, but I assume if it's broken on the server, it'll also be broken on the clients.

@Paul Redeker , here is mine config. Feel free to ask anything in PM 
If you just  suprised of some options gone from .ini file, its not a prob.  This variables is moved to sandbox options.

I keep getting zombie munched cause I get them vision blocked problems haha.

I thought I was safe. I was in a house that I thought was empty but one section was blocked from seeing by another building...

 

CHOMP T_T haha.

 

I quit using some modded maps in single player cause they are too dangerous to be in.

Earlier I was leaving the toolshop in westpoint from the back door (the one thats attached to the grocery) and I heard no zombies so I opened the door but the vision was blocked until I ran out of the door and I ran into 5 zombies...

Those were some very quiet zombies too. No noise at all until I went out the door and walked right into them.

 

Can be very annoying I wish I could turn the feature off most of the time now.

Hi Robert,

 

Thanks for the newest release. I tried PMing you a while back on the forums, but I do not think that the PM worked. 

I tried my map mod to spawn at St Lamb, but that did not work, got vanilla. 

Thanks for this info from steam:

"Hey, could you contact me through our forum? When build 38 will be public you won't need to compile all the spawn points to one file, everything is done automatically now :)"

 

Not sure I understand, since i do not have the spawn points all in one file, but in each separate map directory, with the lots pointing to "Kentucky" folder within the mod, which finally points to Muldraughh KY.  

Any help to resolve this would be great, since I must be missing something simple. if/when I get some time I will move some custom areas to stop overlapping 38.19 areas of interest.

Generators stops working when you logoff or leave "map cell"  

Some startnge things also happening with room lights 
"no genertating generators" is just a joke from PZ Discord

  • Fixed some missing sounds/various fmod related problems.
  • Fixed zombies not being able to thump windows/barricade.
  • Fixed changing owner of a faction not being synced.
  • Fixed craftingUI recipes list not being auto-sorted.
  • Improved CTRL + A select all, to not be so detrimental in movement.
  • Fixed adding fuel in BBQ not working.

Hi, sounds are off in SP. I think there is an echo. For example try turning on a stove and you'll hear two clicks instead of the usual one.

Restart Steam if it doesn't do it automatically!

New issue, there seems to be some kind of sound lag. When I walk for a bit the footsteps sound starts millisecs later and continues even when I'm done walking. Also the stove still makes two clicks when you turn on it and two clicks when you turn it off. I don't think it was like this before.

 

Edit: Done for now. Others will have to verify sound issues are fixed.

I can confirm after update i am now also experiencing the same sound issues with walking and such in multiplayer

No, no errors on the server I manage. Again, weird mods might be the cause.

38.20 Is a client side update to fix sound, generaly. Not a new release.
