How to colds start and metal sheets or planks which is a better barricade

Cold starts if you stand in the rain too long, that's the only way I know off of getting a cold.

And once you get a cold the cure is as follows. 

 

Stay inside.  Building with 4 walls and a roof and eat till it goes away.

I think you can use towels to dry yourself off, maybe that helps?

 

I think metal barricades are more durable and you can put up one sheet and block an entire door/window faster than putting up all those planks. Probably less noisy, but I'm not sure.
