JudasPriest
I'm confused as to how metalworking works. Can someone link a Wiki, or a guide to metalworking?

Can someone link a Wiki, or a guide to metalworking? Metalworking requires a welding mask and a propane torch. I mainly use metal sheets to form barricades on windows. It makes a nice panel, blocks light completely and I would assume to have a ton of health, because it is metal. It can also make metal walls and windows inatead of wooden ones on frames if you have the materials. I know mods also make use of this skill. Later in builds, metalworking is planned to have use in weaponsmithing, armors maybe and other applications.
dareddevil7
About how thick is that metal sheet that you barricade with? Thick enough and it would outlive the wall it's attached to.
Storm6436
Yeah, only use I have for metalworking is grabbing about 20-ish metal bars to put over my windows at the beginning of the game. Personally, I think they should tie it in with the new vehicles and use metalworking to repair car frames and body panels... Add a dash of "I have all this metal... let's build an engine hoist!" Or some other such useful things like that. Mechanics skill should probably focus on putting the bits together, taking them apart, or tuning them.
