How can we make proper custom tiles for both 1x and 2x size textures? Can I add 2 different pack files and somehow define one as 1x and the other as 2x?

I think I understand that you should make the tiles in size x2, the measurement is 128x256, and this same should be for models x1, I saw that when creating the texturepack comes an option to compress the tiles but I have not tried it yet .

Using the option to compress the textures makes them 1x, nothing else. And then the game uses that size for both 1x and 2x game options.

Meaning that if you compress it'll look like shit in 2x?

So just make 2x tiles and leave it as is?

Then they are too big for 1x. That's what I'm saying, currently there is no way to make custom tiles compatible with both 1x and 2x textures.
