Game crashes frequently

eirc

Question

Got the game for a few days and it's crashing a lot, say around every one hour. As you have suggested to other posters I have run the game from ProjectZomboid32.bat and here's a screenshot of the terminal: http://imgur.com/a/ztSVC at the crash. I have checked it multiple times and there's nothing new in the terminal when this happens.

The only pattern I've noticed is that these crashes always happen outdoors and I think when I'm headed to some place I haven't been before or haven't been to recently.

Game is version 36.4 (steam). Windows 10. I have stopped the GeForce experience thing I've seen mentioned in older bug reports. Updated Java to 1.8.0_121-b13. Updated nvidia drivers to 378.66.

Does the console remain open after pressing Close Program? If so, could you take a screenshot of that as well?

If not, grab the console.txt in %UserProfile%\Zomboid and attach it to your post. Hopefully it'll be clearer as to what's going on.

If  you  have a nVidia graphics card, please try this hotfix: http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4378/

Installed the hotfix, still crashing in the same way.

Screenshot after I clicked close program: http://imgur.com/a/Ryecu and I also attached the full console.txt. This was from the second crash in a row I got trying to go to the same place where I crashed before. Only about a minute in it crashed again.

I also noticed I'm getting a rollback of a few hours when I reload after the crash even though the save was less than an hour back (in game time).

After a few days of testing I think it's come down to double sized tiles. Without it I'm not getting any crashes :D

I've noticed a small stutter every now and then, usually when I am outside running around, and I think with double tiles that's when the crashes occurred. So is this a memory issue after all? Maybe the map streaming changes coming up will affect this?
