Hello, ladies and gentlezombies, and welcome to the Causes of Death Statistical Study Redux!  Our autopsy specialists are eager to dig into your corpses to further our understanding of the dangers of the zombie apocalypse.  After the informational blunder of last time, we've been hard at work to ensure that things run more smoothly this time, and that we'll be able to more easily measure, chart, and display all the gooey data (and guts) for analysis and your viewing pleasure.

Onward, for SCIENCE!

Need to know what's expected of you before you start gathering data?  Take a looksies here, in this spoiler:

Spoiler

1. You will need to be using Build 36 or 37 for the study.  Either will do, as there seems to be no big changes in Build 37 that would significantly affect the data.

2. You will need to not use mods, any mods, while gathering data for the study.  Please deactivate them while gathering data.

3. You will need to not cheat, in any way, while gathering data for the study.

4. You will need to ensure that your study character starts off in a freshly-made world.  If any past characters have existed in the world your study character is in, all data from your current study character is invalid.  There is no rule against starting new characters for fun in the world your study character died in.

5. You will need to be playing in a Scenario world (Initial Infection, The First Week, Six Months Later, or Survival), and refrain from sending data gathered in a Sandbox/Custom world, a Challenge world, or a Tutorial world.

6. You will need to take notes on your character.  The more detailed of notes you take, the better.

7. You will need to have recorded the amount of time the end screen says your character has survived.

Optional. It is recommended that you pin open your Health window, to make it easier to identify your exact cause of death.
